Lately it annoys the living daylights out of me when I click on a recipe blog post and have to read through the author's entire childhood to get to the recipe. So, without any delay; here's the recipe for the easiest, chewiest, chocolatiest brownies!
100 g Chocolate broken into pieces
(I'm not a chocolate snob, I'll eat any chocolate especially if it's dipped in more chocolate. These brownies are amazing even when using baking chocolate, so I can imagine using a 70% cacao or a flavoured chocolate will be mindblowing.)
75 g butter
1 tsp vanilla essence
200 g castor sugar
pinch of salt
140 g cake wheat flour
100 g chocolate chips
100 g nuts of your choice
(I left the nuts out, because I was at my house and the nuts were at the shop...so....)
Melt the chocolate and butter together. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well after each addition. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 180 degrees celsius.
It is so good when it is still hot out of the oven, but it gets even chewier and yummier as it cools down. Enjoy!
